I just rec'd a call from the Samish Island Fire Chief. Samish Island Rd has been reopened. There is still water on the roadway, and there are signs to that effect, but the road is open.

Steve, thanks for this site, it will be very useful for amny here on the island. I am trying really hard to post a request for shale rock for a few projects i have here at camp. I know this rock is everywhere, and someone is sick of it by now and wants it gone.. Recycling, gotta love it. I am having a really hard time finding a place to post anything other than comments to a pre-existing post.
